German supporters were out in force in Brisbane (Meaanjin) to help guide their team through to the knockout stages of the FIFA Women's World Cup. The Black, Red and Yellow of the German flag was everywhere. South Korean supporters were visible in their red shirts with some wrapping themselves in the South Korean flag. On the other side of the country in Perth (Borloo), Morocco were aiming to upset the apfelstrudel cart as they took on Colombia at the same time. (3rd August 2023).
