Brisbane's Lang Park, known for the duration of the FIFA Women's World Cup as Brisbane Stadium, is probably the best rectangular football stadium in Australia. It is certainly the largest. For sponsorship reasons, when FIFA aren't involved, the ground is known as Suncorp Stadium. The fans are close to the action (unless they are in row 75 - see picture below) and the atmosphere can be electric. The full capacity of the ground is around 52,000 - reduced slightly for the World Cup to cater for extra TV cameras etc. (27th July 2023)
Subbuteo anyone? The view from above.
Row 75. Known as the Nose Bleed part of the stadium. Bring your own Oxygen - and Binoculars.
The Banner for the FIFA Women's World Cup is given a flutter in the centre of the ground before the National Anthems are played.
