On Tuesday 16th December, 1975, Leatherhead turned up for an FA Cup 2nd round replay at Sandy Lane after a 0-0 darw at Fetcham Grove
the previous Saturday. Before an expectant crowd of 1963, both sides slipped their way around an ice rink for 60 minutes before the referee
decided enough was enough. On Monday 22nd December, a reported 2500 turned up to see the Terrors win 2-1 after extra time and book
themselves a spot in the 3rd round against one of the big names of the game. Well, away to Swindon Town was the best the 3rd round draw
had to offer.
