A trip to somewhere is planned. But where? The van belonged to
Colin Winstone's Dad - aka "Mr Winstone". Mr Winstone has his
back to the camera in front of the van. To his left is Fred Farrow
and to his right is John Purbrick. And if anyone can
make out the people in the photo,send your answers on the
back of a post card to the usual email address.
Same van, same day. Richard Biggs is on the right. Mr Winstone
continues to look lovingly at his van, hoping it will be returned
in the same condition. Andy "Bud" Day is the trip's official
photographer with his Box Brownie round his neck. Also
in the picture are brother Daisy and Andrew Burrow. A Magnifying
Glass might be needed!

The Bone of Contention was an old ox bone used as the trophy to be presented
to the Scout Group winning the District athletics. The 3rd Streatham were
regular winners. In this picture, celebrating the 1968 win, are;

ran a report on the winning of the Bone of Contention. All event winners
are listed over all Scout age groups including the Venture Scouts.
Canoeing at Longridge, Marlow. The 3rd Streatham were enthusiastic
participants in water activities and Longridge. Canoeists from
