Although these photos come from the 1960s, they represent activities that were undertaken by the 3rd Streatham / Livingstone group. Senior Scouts
covered the age group 14 to 18. Rover Scouts followed covering the 18 to 25 age group. Originally Baden-Powell had a vision that Rovers would have no upper age
limit. This changed after his death in 1941 with 25 being the accepted upper age limit. And in case you didn't know, a group of Rovers is called a "Rover Crew".
The review of Scouting in the United Kingdom in 1967 saw an overhaul (modernisation) of Scouting. Venture Scouts were created to cover the age group 16 to 20
replacing Senior Scouts and Rover Scouts. Boy Scouts became "Scouts" with a new upper age of 16, whilst Wolf Cubs became "Cub Scouts".
