Be Prepared

August 1974 saw the Streatham VSU head to Le Continent to visit Interlaken (Bonigen to be precise) and Colmar in France for their Summer Camp. It was without doubt one of the GREAT summer camps. It was during this epic adventure that the phrase "CBH" was first uttered.

Raymond Zwicker, a Swiss Venture Scout, had spent some time in Streatham whilst learning English earlier that year. So an opportunity was taken to visit Berne, Raymondo's home city and the capital of Switzerland, to catch up with a good friend.
